Valencia CF to pay tribute to David Villa
Valencia CF are preparing a tribute to David Villa as part of the club's game against FC Barcelona on LaLiga Matchday 12. The club will hang a canvas with the striker's image outside Mestalla, along with those of the rest of the Valencia CF legends.
Villa played for Valencia CF for five seasons, featuring in more than 200 games in both national and European competitions and scoring more than 100 goals. A decisive player remembered fondly by fans, he was part of the team that won the Copa del Rey in 2008.

A previous tribute to the forward was postponed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other events will be announced for Saturday, October 29th at a later date.
